The Project

Purposes

For nearly 20 years, Essor Espoir has been helping women facing great hardship to integrate themselves socially and economically through an ironing workshop. Seventy percent of the services provided are carried out by the employees of Redcats, today in the framework of the Concierge services. Whereas requests from beneficiaries in vulnerable situations are rising sharply, the premises need to be enlarged and brought into line with health and safety standards and new machines need to be purchased. The objective is to welcome 12 more women in 2009.
