One year after its creation, the PPR Corporate Foundation has numerous partnerships all around the world, with NGOs fighting violence against women and promoting women's empowerment.
In 2010, the Foundation intends to mobilise more and more PPR employees and brands, and to develop raising awareness actions on theses topics.
On the occasion of February, 6 - International Day Against Female Genital Mutilations - the Foundation is proud to announce its support to the Desert Flower movie, and the several debates organised in partnership with Fnac, to get involved against excision, during the first half of March.

Make a socially responsible investment in "Earth roofs for the Sahel"!
Voûte Nubienne, winner of the 2008 Social Entrepreneur Awards, is an NGO promoting an ancestral lumber-free roof building technique that is both environmentally friendly and inexpensive. The association trains Burkinabe masons on a large scale, thereby enabling Sub-Saharan communities to improve their quality of life in a sustainable and durable way, as well as to develop local employment: discover their projects and invest in the association from €5 per month!

Statistics: over 8,000 visits and 6,000 visitors
Since the new www.fondationppr.org website became live in November, 2009, our internautes take the time of a deep discovery, staying in average some 5 minutes on the site. More than a third of them comes back in the same month. Thank you for your being so faithful!
Closing of the submission of on-line project forms
The NGO projects fighting violence against women and promoting women's empowerment, which will be examined by the next Selection Committee, in April 2010, must be completed and submitted before March, 1st.

Meeting of the Selection Committee dedicated to Social entrepreneurs
On next March, 24, the PPR Corporate Foundation's Selection Committee will meet each of the 6 social entrepreneurs pre-selected by the Team for their project responding to a social issue especially concerning women. The 3 awarded will receive an amount of €15,000 and the sponsoring by a PPR group's manager, which will help them to develop their initiative.
