“Promotion Women’s Rights and Empowerment in DRC, Nigeria, Rwanda and Sudan” aims at revising and improving Women for Women International’s Renewing Women’s Life Skills Program Curriculum, designed especially to enhance action-oriented rights awareness and economic empowerment, which is used to train thousands of women each year. This funding would support country-specific costs in DRC, Nigeria, Rwanda and Sudan.
The project’s overall goal is to provide tools and strategies for improving the lives of women survivors of war and conflict.
The specific objectives of the project are to:
1. Revise and improve Women for Women International’s program curriculum to enhance action-oriented rights awareness and economic empowerment for the women being trained.
2. Build the capacity of in-country staff to understand and better utilize the new curriculum.

The main activities for the curriculum revision include:
- Materials Development, Translation and Production
- Field Testing the Revised Curriculum
- Training of Trainers
