« When I heard about solidarity leaves from PPR Foundation, I thought this idea of going abroad and giving a hand to the local populations to help them improve their living conditions was a wonderful idea. Since I wanted to do something really practical, I left to join a school construction site with 10 other volunteers. I felt it was better to go with a group since it was my first experience. The missions are organised and funded via partnerships, like the one with the PPR Foundation (team coordination, purchasing of equipments, insurance, etc.). Our team worked with Malians workers to dig the foundations, cast the concrete, build the frame and paint the school walls. It is so rewarding to know that the kids will no longer have to sit 5 per desk thanks to our efforts! I lived a truly extraordinary experience that I would wish for everybody !
